Highlights: It was a year of new hope, with 7 talented sophomores coming up to varsity.

Rich Mokay led the young generation as the starting tailback. On his first varsity touch, he took the opening kickoff for a touchdown against BGA. Steve Hood continued to show a strong arm, and sophomore Warren Kelly started taking some occasional snaps as well.

The Bulldogs showed some very good strength, including a 60+ point outing against Greene, but we were still a bit too young to compete with the top talent, suffering big losses to Windsor and an absolutely loaded Walton team.
